Haile, whose paintings have been praised by visitors from France, Japan, Germany and Sweden, warmly greeted attendees to the exhibit in the studio in the Harlem brownstone where he lives. His father, Bernardo Rubie says that "Haile is a wonderful son who has become a wonderful artist." " We, his family, encourage him in every way we can." adds his mother Audrey; "we are very proud of Haile, he has been thoroughly committed to painting since he was four years old.
